Bien, or officially and census-ly known as Baby Bien (I know what you’re thinking, long story) Adosto, is a 34-year old husband to Kristina and father to Sophia Isabelle and Elias Joaquin. He is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos, in Bacolod, a city in central Philippines. He’s never had the chance to practice the profession, but played roles of personnel/project manager, quality control officer and trainer for one of the biggest Business Process Outsourcing companies in the world.

He started his affinity for writing at an early age – joining school-based competitions for poem-writing and article-writing as early as 10 years of age. He may have previously wanted to pursue a career in Journalism, but the thought of him not earning much in the said industry prevented him from doing so.

He started creating his niche in the blogosphere 6 years ago with Pop Culture and Company – a Blogger blog dedicated to creating reviews for some of the TV shows he watched, music/music videos he got interested in and movies he would recommend to friends. After about a couple of years, in 2011, he relaunched the site and renamed it The Nice Guy Syndrome – creating more personal features on his newfound love as a husband and a dad. After a year of no writing and hiatus from the blog-scene, he has transitioned to WordPress and decided to give his few readers a mix of the two and a few more additions, thus the birth of Chapter Thirty Confessions!

He enjoys singing, films and photography, spends much of his time reading and discovering some of the best YA literature around, and commits much of himself to being a father to the future Lea Salonga , the next Leo Messi and husband to his very own Gisele Bündchen.

  1. I love the Larry King quote. As for your ‘about’ page, I must add that you have a beautiful family, I just looked at the two pictures you have added here. I look forward to reading your posts.

    1. Thanks so much! I appreciate the kind words.

Your blog’s really good. I followed it to get daily updates from you and maybe get a tip or two on how to write beautifully. 🙂
